This week I had the pleasure of finally getting the chance to go and visit the bi-annual Selvedge Run which has been going since 2015. It is a trade show where brands from all over the world come and show their wares to current and potential new retailers, so they can pick and select what items they will be stocking in the near future.
So to be able to get a peak inside was fascinating for someone like me who usually anticipates these kind of drops. It also shows what an incredible hard job it can be for the retailers to be able to predict what items will sell out or end up in the sale section.

This Cossack Jacket from Orgueil was definitely a highlight of the show in my eyes as everything looked

As well new items it is of course a treat to be able to see worn in and faded examples of some classic Japanese denim by the Motorcycle influenced Iron Heart.

The Red Wing store was also having a launch of their new SuperSole, but these worn in pairs were the ones which got my attention.

No trip to Berlin would do without visiting Burg & Schild who's owner was responsible for launching Selvedge Run 4 years ago. As you would expect they have a great range of both Japanese and American brands which would satisfy any denimheads desires.
But with all such trips the best part was to able to connect with friends from around the world and be able to spend some time together
